Making lists like this makes you realize how great of a year it's actually been for the industry. Now I know a lot of these artists are not well known, but don't write them off on that fact alone. Consider this a resource if you're looking for new music and basically just enjoy! I had a lot of fun making this for you guys and hope you have a lot of fun with the artists. DON'T PIRATE SON.

So, there you have it. Again if you listen to the top track and don't like it don't write off the entire album. That's just my favourite song off the album and it might not be your's because I am a jackass sometimes. Okay, most of the time. This list doesn't have nearly enough metal, because me the jackass didn't really pay attention to that genre this year. For those that will ask about the lack of Eminem it was really hard for me to leave him off of this list and I had him in mind for the spots from 50-45, but there are just better albums out there.
Recommendations:
If you're looking for a fast paced slap to the face album that makes you want to get up and dance be sure not to skip over ArchAndroid, The Suburbs, Surfer Blood, and King of the Beach among others. For those of you old fucks, like myself, looking for a slow mellowed out album, start with High Violet and move towards Age of Adz. Majority of these albums have a variety of both songs but these are the standouts
